Tao graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) from the University of Adelaide, Australia. He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2017. Prior to setting up the firm, he was in the Real Estate Department of Dentons Rodyk & Davidson LLP, the oldest legal practice in Singapore.

In July 2021, Mr. Tao set up his own law firm “Tao & Partners” which was later joined by Mr. Lay under the current partnership of “Zubin, Tao & Partners”.

Tao has advised his clients on various real estate transactions. He represented an investment holding company in acquiring a RM34 million worth of agricultural lands and has recently acted for another company to purchase an industrial building for approximately RM20 million. Besides, he is well versed in both conventional and Islamic loan documentations of banking facilities.

Tao has also represented his clients in divorce and matrimonial proceedings as well as estate disputes.

Nina graduated from University of Malaya in 2019 and completed her pupillage under the tutelage of Mr. Nagarajah Muttiah. She was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2021.

Her area of practice is general civil litigation specialising in contested matters of commercial, labour, industrial relations, construction, family, insurance, defamation, wills and probate.
