Zubin graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B)(Hons) from the University of Adelaide, Australia.
He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2016. Prior to joining Zubin, Tao & Partners, Zubin was a Senior Associate at Shook Lin & Bok, one of the oldest and largest firms in Malaysia.
Zubin has advised various companies, including government-linked companies, listed companies and statutory authorities on employment disputes.
Zubin has also represented his clients in various litigations in the Industrial Court, High Court, Court of Appeal and Federal Court.

Tao graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B)(Hons) from the University of Adelaide, Australia. He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2017. Prior to setting up the firm, Tao worked with Dentons Rodyk & Davidson LLP, one of the largest firms in Singapore. He was also an Associate with Burton Tan, Syazwan & Co.
Tao has advised his clients on various commercial transactions. He recently represented an investment holding company in purchasing and acquiring a RM34 million worth of real property. Tao has also advised and represented his clients in matrimonial proceedings, estate and probate claims.
In July 2021, Mr. Tao set up his own law firm “Tao & Partners” which was later joined by Mr. Lay under the current name of “Zubin, Tao & Partners”.
